How a season works
Join
A club joins for fall, spring or both, in a league at a time that fits their schedule.
Play
The club plays an hour a week through the season, against similarly skilled players at peer schools, right from campus.
Playoffs
Each season ends in the playoffs: a winner-take-all tournament crowns the champion.
Who does what
The school
Provide a space, devices and a teacher to supervise for an hour a week. No chess knowledge needed: we’ll help keep your kids learning, including through our games.
Rookly
We run the League: pairings, scheduling, live spectating, standings and the playoffs, on a platform built with student safety and privacy in mind. Avatars, emojis and school pride give kids room to express themselves. Need a coach? We can help find one.
